Information Collection and Use

For our managed services customers, we collect historical data about the computers that our software manages. This information is maintained by Digital One. All personal data you enter on is encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology that encodes the information before it is transmitted to us. The SSL technology decodes the data after it reaches our server to help ensure that there is no unauthorized access to your information while it is transmitted. Once data reaches our site, it is protected by the same state-of-the-art security we use to protect our company's essential business data.

E-mail Address Use

When you become a Digital One customer - or send us a web-based inquiry - we may request your e-mail address. We never share or sell e-mail addresses to other companies.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share any customer information or data that we collect on our site.

Links may offer links to other Web sites for informational purposes. When you click one of these links, you are accessing another website. Please read the privacy statements of these sites as their policies may differ from Digital One’s policies.


Internet users who visit our site may be identified using “cookies”. A cookie is data stored on the user's hard drive that contains information about the user. Usage of a cookie is not linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once you close your browser, the cookie terminates. Cookies enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance their experience on our site. We have no control over cookies that are used by the sites you may link to from our site.

Log Files

We use Internet Protocol (IP) addresses to analyze trends, administer our site, track users' movement, and to gather demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. The following information is saved in our log files: date, time, IP address (from), user name (account user), site name (internal), computer name (server), IP address (server), port (server), method request type (put, head, get), URI stem (URL), URI query, status (return code from request), WIN32 status, SC bytes, CS bytes, time taken, version, host, user agent, cookie, and referrer.


All information collected on the site is stored and maintained in a secure facility that limits access to authorized personnel only. All Digital One Corp employees are informed about the company's privacy policy and security policies on a routine basis. Our website is regularly audited and tested for security breaches to ensure all collected information is secure from unauthorized access and viewing.

Notification of Changes

If we change our privacy policy, we will post notification of the changes on our Home Page so our visitors are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it, if any. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner that is different from that stated at the time it was collected, we contact our customers and obtain their permission to do so.
